State Minister of National Development Planning or the Head of Bappenas Paskah Suzetta, said in 2010 there will be 1.7 million new labor force and employment of 1.87 million available.
"So there will be 170 thousand surplus employment. If there is no new unemployment in 2010, the unemployment figures can be declined," Paskah said in a press meet at the Directorate General of Taxes / Dirjen Pajak in Jakarta on Monday.
He adds, at this time the number of unemployment as much as 9.25 million of people. Paskah also said, for the poverty level in 2010, the number of poverty estimated at 12 to 13 percent.
